About Andy

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri where I Graduated from St. Louis University in 1988 and received a Bachelors degree in Business while majoring in Finance. My Parents, Grandma, Sister and one older brother still live in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1993 I moved West to Santa Barbara, CA where my second brother lives with his family and he is currently an ophthalmologist at the Sansum-Santa Barbara Medical foundation. During the nine years in Santa Barbara, I managed a sales territory for a wholesale distribution company. My territory covered from Ventura, CA to San Luis Obispo, CA.

In June of 2002, I moved to San Luis Obispo to work in the sales office at de Tolosa Ranch for Franciscan Development. de Tolosa Ranch  was one of San Luis Obispo 's first new housing developments since the late 1990's. We sold 147 homes over the next 2 years at de Tolosa Ranch, where I gained the knowledge of the new home sales industry. This experience helped me feel like I was a member of the local community in San Luis Obispo.

After the completion of the de Tolosa Ranch subdivision I joined the Patterson Realty sales office in January 2004. My first year with Patterson Realty I sold over 6 Million in Real Estate, where I learned the re-sale housing market in San Luis Obispo. Along with helping people buy and sell homes I did the property management on 30 rental homes for 2 years. This gave me a great understanding of the San Luis Obispo rental housing market. During the year of 2005 I worked with Westpac Developments, Inc. They are a local San Luis Obispo development company currently working on several projects from Paso Robles, CA to Santa Barbara, CA.

Since moving to San Luis Obispo in 2002 I have learned to love the SLO Life and all that the central coast has to offer.  My lifestyle includes many activities from Water Skiing at Lake Naciemento, to Golfing at Avila Beach, Surfing in Pismo Beach, Playing squash at Kennedy club fitness, Mountain biking on local trails, playing roller hockey and finally driving 2 hours once a week to Oxnard, Ca to Play Ice Hockey.  As for my love of ice hockey I am currently on the Greater Santa Barbara Ice Skating Association Board of Directors, a non-for-profit group trying to bring an ice rink to Santa Barbara, CA.  www.iceinparadise.org

Finally, San Luis Obispo has helped me find my future wife, Heather Wall. We were married on July 21, 2007 at Hollister Ranch, CA.
